Exhibitors should note we only accept sheep from Fully Accredited Flocks in the Maedi Vis-na Flock Scheme in Border Leicester, Suffolk, Any Other Breed Continental Classes, Charol-lais, Beltex and Texel Classes. Entries in Blackface, Cheviot and Jacob Sections will only be accepted from non-designated flocks. Blue Faced Leicester, Cross Sheep and JAC Butchers’ Lambs will be accepted from either status.
All M.V. Accredited Sheep must be accompanied by the Official Maedi Visna Status certificate for inspection [photocopies will not be accepted] by the Chief Steward at the Entry Gate of the Showground. Exhibitors of M.V. Accredited Sheep should be aware of the Ministry of Agriculture’s Transport Regulations. Sheep are shown entirely at their owner’s risk.
